Film - Saving Private Ryan.

Scene I hate - Where they charge the hill and their medic dies.

Why - Of all the dumb fk things to do.
Shall we attack from the cover of trees...No.
Shall we attack from the rear....No.
Shall we split up and attack from more than 1 side....No.
Shall we utilise our excellent sniper....No.
Shall we all run up the side with the most open line of fire for the defenders using no natural cover at all to maximise our loss of life...Guess what.
I hate the stipidity of it.

Yours?

Smokey and the Bandit. Superb before and after the drivel with the dog in the lake and Bandit nailing Frog.

Star Wars.....

All the bits which make it look like rejects from Jim Hensons Muppet Show. In particular the bar scene where Obi Wan saves Luke....the band and all the 'man in pub parts' are very silly looking characters IMHO obviously.

Revenge of the Sith. I love this film but

"From my poin of view the Jedi are evil!"

Is a painfully bad line

The love story in Enemy at the Gates

Overused slo-mo in American History X

the haggling scene in Life of Brain goes on for too long

The Ewoks

Grey facepaint in Dawn of the Dead

Snatch - I dislike the "ze Germans" lines, they just don't flow and seem completely out of place in the sort of conversation you would imagine the characters to have.

Pulp Fiction: the bit that starts when Bruce Willis gets into the cab after killing the fighter and ends with him waking up the next morning and going back for his watch (at which point it becomes brilliant again). Don't know why, I just think that whole bit is incredibly tedious and his girlfriend is a pain in the arse.

I watched this again recently, and was felt feeling the same, is there an "in" joke, that the audience isn't privy too?

Dumbo - the 'pink elephants on parade' bit. It freaked me out when I was a kid and I still don't like it...

Wasn't that after he ate some fermented apples or something? Seem to remember it was an allegory for being pissed.

Yeah, doesn't a bottle of something alcoholic fall into a barrel he drinks out of? It's just rather odd.
