Anyone else lost ITV4 recently?
Discussion
Just getting a no signal message when I select it through the digital box. It was fine a couple of weeks ago. I've tried a full channel scan on another digital box (same aerial feed) and it's not found during the search. All other channels appear to be clear and present. Has this happened to anyone else in the North West and if so, have you managed to get it back?
I started to watch Soldier on ITV4 last night via freesat on the box downstairs, then sloped off to view the remainder from the comfort of my scratcher, only to find ITV4 had disappeared from my freeview set in the bedroom! Even after a re-tune, still missing, so assume something must be up.
Don't feel any great sense of loss from missing Soldier, but I love watching re-runs of The Professional and the Sweeney!

ITV4 is the only ITV channel worth watching, purely for the amount of motorsport they show
^This. It's the only decent ITV channel. Lots of motor racing and decent films too, had a bunch of Sam Peckinpah films on about a year ago. Seems ITV4+1 has vanished from my sky listings.
Is BTCC still being shown on ITV4 thius year?

Same here! BTCC also, whole day of racing! Here is how you get ITV4 back and channel 5.
These instructions are for C5 -
1. Press SERVICES on your remote control
2. Select 4 SYSTEM SET UP
3. Select 4 ADD CHANNELS
4. Change the frequency to 10.773
5. Change the POLARISATION from V to H
6. Change the SYMBOL RATE to 22.0
7. Change the FEC to 5/6
8. then select FIND CHANNELS
When the new channels are found, highlight FIVE, press the Yellow button then press the SKY button
To watch channel 5, select SERVICES, then 6 OTHER CHANNELS then select FIVE.
For ITV 4 go here and change the figures in steps 4-7.
I found this information out here

So it looks like the signal was too weak to be picked up by my old aerial and the ancient coax which looks like it had been there since the house was built, probably wasn't helping either.
