Speaking during the credits
Discussion
I don't like this (we can never again have creative creds like Blackadder II, though Miranda tried
), I don't like it when you get a big logo stuck on your screen reminding you what channel your watching, I don't like the credits being cut short, I don't like it when they squish the credit up the side of the screen and tell you what is on next.
But I have just experienced the worst example I have ever seen! Watching No Ordinary Family on Watch and the stupid b
h actually started talking over the dialogue, it still had 4 minutes to run till the end, we weren't even in the last scene!! Jesus f
king titty Christ, how bad is it going to get? I didn't get half of the dialogue between the parents because some retard wanted to tel lme aboot a programme that I will never ever watch....arrrggghhh

...the BBC's response was "We don't care, we are going to do it anyway"
That's the BBCs stock answer to most programming criticism, isn't it?
Rolling credits on Discovery and History channel programmes before they've even finshed is annoying as well. It just appears to be the latest 'TV production' craze.
I just wish they'd get back to credits and announcements once the programme has actually finished!
I've witnessed this a few times, I'm not sure why it happens, can the voiceover guys not see the program finishing? are they relying on timings only or is it a preset set recorded voiceover. This and shrinking the credits just when I want to see who played a certain character, it's being going on for ages but still annoys me no end, yes I can ck imdb but it'd be much easier to read the name on the ccredits (well it should be!)
And I really do not like the new Channel 5 logo a big bold 5 in the corner of the screen, it stands out a mile. I know most channels do this now but they are generally a bit more subtle and you can get used to them but this no 5 just kept jumping out at me!

Channel five are starting to do that. Or should I say "5" as its starting to etch itself on the screen. It anoys me as I avidly read credits, usually for music used that I cannot put a name to or similarly an actor/actress. They obviously think no one is interested.
a bit off topic but the other thing that get me is a resume (thing over the e!) of the program so far after each comercial break assuming everyone watching has only just tuned in when for those that have been there from the start its just going over what they have already seen. Wasting time I guess so that they dont need to spend much on actual content to fill the program.

Bit of a bug bear for me too.
In my experience, one of the worst offenders has to be FX.
When they were showing Season 2 of True Blood, the episode that was on would end on a cliffhanger - invariably regarding one of the characters being in a life or death situation.
What would FX do? That's right, as soon as the credits would roll, they would have a preview of the next weeks episode showing that the character in the cliffhanger had survived. Geniuses!!
Best of all, when they showed Season 2 of Eastbound & Down, voice over guy incorrectly came on during the end credits telling everyone that this was the last episode in the series when in fact it was the pen-ultimate episode.
The episode didn't feel like one that a series would end on and I had to go online to confirm there was one more episode to come.
Seriously, is it really that hard to get this kind of thing right??
