I have never heard of this, but I don't see what the authorities are worried about.
Surely this exactly what Darwin writing about?

Planking! Terrible. It should be banned.
Seems like a non-story to try out a new term dreamed up by the media to describe people being stupid.
I suppose "Man dies following act of stupidity" wouldn't make much of a story though.
You want to ban somebody from doing something stupid? Just to add another to a list of laws we don't need.Seems like a non-story to try out a new term dreamed up by the media to describe people being stupid.

Let Darwin work his magic. And if it means having to pay for a few poor, stupid souls who will spend the rest of their lives in a wheelchair, then that's fine by me. If only to protect one of the few freedoms we still have left, that is to let idiots photograph themselves doing idiotic things.

I was being tongue-in-cheek, in my best Daily Mail sort of rage.Let Darwin work his magic. On the contrary I think people should be free to be as stupid as they like, and we would have a healthier, happier and smaller population as a result.
It just makes me laugh the way they come up with these terms and try and make them into some sort of new invention, when it's realyl just people being stupid.
What a great excuse to introduce some more people to the work of Eric Sykes:
