Looks like people have had enough of the racist shenanigans in Tower Hamlets being ignored by the police and are starting to get vocal

Be interesting to hear what our on the spot poster has to say about it smile

I think it's important to pause for a moment and reflect on the benefits of Islamic immigration.

See what the police do when the EDL and such get involved.

It's a 2 way street. By letting them get away with it there, they have no defense against white extremists causing trouble.

As much as I dislike violence, sometimes certain groups need a fecking reality slap when it comes to treating other humans with the same respect.

I'm very glad I live in a part of the country this doesn't happen.

IIRC Tower Hamlets is one of the first bits of the UK to go minority white. Multiculturalism at its best; we've got ourselves a ghetto. The EDL are at the very extreme end of what is a huge tide of anger in the area, and if it can't be brought under control and quickly, it's going to be like Brixton all over again.

I certainly am.

Great place to live. Tolerant friendly people in the main. Good health, education, law and order, very little corruption.

I wonder if we could all claim asylum somewhere?

British passport. Apparently you can go to anywhere in the EU AND claim benefits. Who says there are no "benefits" to being part of the EU smile

'Islamophobia'. I love that word. Phobia means in irrational fear. It's a blanket dismissal of everyone who speaks out against Islam by labelling them effectively as nutters. The idea that someone might actually know about Islam and still be critical of it is an alien concept to the lentil-munching idiots who come up with this stuff.

Looking back over the past 50 years, there is little corruption . . . . look back over the past 15 and it's getting more and more prevalent.

Indeed.

The turnout for the Tower Hamlet mayoral election was 25%. That's disgraceful and those who could not be arsed voting now deserve everything they get imo. Hope their council taxes are further wasted on Rahman and his cronies.

I meant in general. The police don't stop me at random and expect me to give them a tennder folded in my license (well, not as much as they used to wink) I would say that, as a whole, UK corruption is pretty low in comparison to the RoW.

With regards to Lutfur Rahman it needs to be illuminated and exposed pour encourager les autres. Brushing cockroaches under the carpet just encourages them to breed.

ETA - what's he supposed to have done that is actually corrupt?

I've posted about the harassment of teachers by Muslim parents at my local Primary School. It's continual and persistent. Whilst it is a small minority that actively take part, the other (moderate?) Muslim parents give it tacit approval and take the view that it's all to the good. I'm not suggesting that it as extreme as the physical attacks on the RE teacher in Tower Hamlets, however, it is still deeply unpleasant for the teachers that have to walk on egg shells rather than get on with the job of teaching, and the other children and parents who just want an inclusive environment for their kids.

Indeed. Only a xenophobic fool would take this handful of cretins and tar a whole religion and culture with the same brush.

Can you list the main benefits of Islamic immigration, please?
