Johann Hari rumbled as a plagiarist
Discussion
Great start to the day, the toast tastes better and the coffee smells real good.
A delightful thing to happen to a deserving individual.
Even so, the smug twunt is still out there wriggling on a stick, typical leftie tactic when caught: acknowledge something else while denying the big hit, be brazen and spin for your life.

This affair has led me to create a Twitter account solely for the purpose of looking at the "hashtag" (whatever one of those is) #interviewswithhari:
That Twitter thing said:
RT @wallaceme "Stop!" he cried, pointing to the brass-framed clock above his desk, "Hammertime." #interviewsbyhari
RT @robertrea I gazed regretfully at her. She shrugged. "If you liked it, Johann," she pouted, "then you should've put a ring on it #interviewsbyhari
RT @MrSamWilson I walked into the room and there he was. Lionel. "Hello," he said, shaking my hand "Is it me you're looking for?" #interviewsbyhari
RT @SIRJoshuaToThee Moses slyly showed me the third, smaller stone. "Shall I include this, or are 10 commandments enough, Hari?" I just smiled #InterviewsByHari

Hari said:
He said that he had prioritised "intellectual accuracy" in representing his subjects' ideas as clearly as possible, over "reportorial accuracy" in using the words they actually said in the interview. "That was, on reflection, a mistake, because it wasn't clear to the reader," he wrote.

Remember this?
Hari always was so popular and frequently recognised as a literary genius on here.

So much spin it makes you dizzy just reading it.
Yes, because I often go round clicking random links. Or not.
If you are going to tell some story about some completely random person who some ppl have a grudge against, you could at least tell us who they are.
Who I be too wrong though if I guessed this person was a random left wing journalist irrelevent to almost everybody in everyday life?

...aaaaand here's The Mash

The criticism came after Hari used a revolutionary new interview technique that involved pretending people had said things to him and then imagining what his reaction would have been if they had have said those things to him, which they did not and in fact said to somebody else years ago.
I love you, Daily Mash. What a complete moron. Did he really think he'd be able to pull this off?
New Statesman:
"I realized at that moment that I was saying goodbye to life," Chávez said. "So it is possible that one has been a bit . . . imbued with that . . . ever since, no?"
Jon Lee Anderson, The New Yorker, The Revolutionary, 10 September 2001
"I realized at that moment that I was saying goodbye to life," he says, looking away. "So it is possible that, after surviving, one has been a bit... imbued with that sense ever since, no?"
Johann Hari, The Indepedent, Hugo Chavez - An 'Exclusive' Interview, 14 May 2006
"I was in close contact with poverty, it's true, I cried a lot..."
Lally Weymouth, Interview with Hugo Chavez in Newseek, October 2000
Just as this is beginning to sound like sepia-tinted nostalgia, he adds, "I was in close contact with poverty, it's true. I cried a lot."

I can't see that he has a shred of credibility left, nor can I imagine that anyone with a high profile would want to be interviewed by someone who creates “intellectual profiles” of their subjects.
I'd have thought that to create an “intellectual profile”, not being a complete f
king cretin would be a good starting place.

sMashing condemnation via biting satire.
What is it with lefties (seemingly more than any other political persuasion) and the incapability of telling the truth and having to make up stories to support their own naive outlook – Greenpeace, anyone who believes in MMCC, Labours’ denial to take any responsibility of the mess we’re in now, the list goes on. Is it now endemic?
