I played monopoly with my son last night and noticed that the banknote quality was the same as the US dollar and the Euro notes. So, I had this great idea, see ...

I made the first 150,000 Euros before breakfast. With some alignment issues and colour calibration sorted, I should be past the 100 trillion mark by teatime. I'll settle my own debts, and then give the balance to the EU on Sunday evening. I believe it will avert a stock market crash on Monday Morning.

If I can do this, then we can train up some cash monkeys to use photocopies and scissors, and the entire world crisis will be gone by end of the week.

EDITED TO ADD:- A friendly PH banker has just emailed to say this is not a new idea, and it was invented by Mr G Brown in 2008 and that the USA, and EU have also been doing it for 3 years, and it doesn’t work. He pointed out that my plain copier paper was worth more than the Euro in the first place. Bugger.

AKA: QE (Quantiative Easing) shortly followed by QE2.
(At some future date it may also be categorised with the Titanic.)
Not such a wild idea, although if you succeed I'd like my investments secured in index linked bonds please.

I find it interesting that your scanner allowed them to scan. Usually, a banknote in a photocopier leads to an error message;
