Surely the BBC have made a mistake? Should the caption not read:

"Caution this footage contains some pleasing images"

Agreed yes I do hope no BIB get in trouble as this is the sort of retaliation the rioters need to face.

Nice to see our BIB getting stuck in. They have my wholehearted support.
The wets at Auntie would have the same view if their homes were torched by looters.

The point all officers have made that lead to the weakening of PO tactics that allowed this to last two nights too many.

When dealing with high level violence. Quick decisive robust action to those carrying out send a far better message to those people with them than a prison term 6 months later.

The youth on those bikes were some of the main instigators players from my understanding. They were dealt with whilst a different person was dealt with less robustly. The whole incident looks like a planned pincer movement.

The only disturbing thing in that report is the way that the reporter emphasised the word "suspected".

Somebody at the BBC should look at the YouTube version of that video. It had nearly 3000 likes and less than 200 dislikes when I watched it. 93% of people seem to approve of the police action.

The BBC once again, is displaying it's leftie tendencies.

Yep

I still think plod should of stayed at home and put out a statement saying they would like to deal with the looters but aren't going to as they might upset one of them and that would be terrible.

The press wanted a toothless police force

I've always enjoyed a wee bit of police brutality

Disturbing is right. That looks like random thuggery to me. Could be entirely innocent kids on bikes and cops blowing some steam after being 'kettled' in their transits. Some of you guys worry me even more than the Police!

The 'public' have spoken.

There is embodied your reason for two nights where police stood back.

Exactly these promising young footballers are out there delivering papers to the local old people at god knows what time in the morning so that they are fully aware of whats going on the in world, Its not the kids fault that they have spent so much time learning about advanced enginering to help solve the worlds dependance on fosil fuels that they were completly unaware of the troubles.

Meanwhile back in the real world, do the see the scote go flying when the copper tackled his bike, well done that man.

Anybody out at that time that night knew what was going on.

They were not caught up by accident on their way home from work.

I will not critisise any police officers for smashing people like that. They knew what they were doing and took teh risk.
