Saw this on another forum I visit, basically it is a short test to judge how right or left wing you are. http://www.politicalcompass.org/test
Strangely a lot of National leaders are very right wing, (could say something) Thought it would be found interesting on here (no doubt we have the next Hitler in our midst or something hehe)

These are my results
Economic Left/Right: -4.00
Social Libertarian/Authoritarian: -0.82

That's roughly where I come out too, save me pasting the image.

Want to start a political party?

Repost, I'm trying to remember what it said last time to save me doing it again.

We would probably do a better job than the current lot hehe

We could call ourselves the Piston Party, the first laws would be the raising of the speed limit, banning of speed cameras, and shooting anyone who burned an mx5.

I disagree with your manifesto.

Mine is to become rich through corruption, raise the cost of motoring until only the very rich can afford it, then hoon about deserted roads.

(actually, this is catered for by all the current parties)

This came up around the time of the general election. As I expected I came out quite libertarian, somewhat to my surprise I came out quite left wing. I'd expected since I usually disagree with my Labour voting friend on most things that I'd me more right than him but he ended up actually being further right and a lot more authoritarian.

edit for sprellings

Some of those questions could do with a "neither agree nor disagree" as they couldn't be skipped and I had no opinion on them. I wound up just selecting an answer which makes the result below either null and void or very accurate.

Me:

Unexpected, I thought I'd be slightly lower down and a tiny bit more to the left. Strange survey, not sure I believe it. I don't follow it, it could do with a neither agree or disagree as suggested above.

Wow...

I would have expected myself to be way more right wing authoritarian. But then this test says Winky is a right wing authoritarian, so may be its a good thing I'm not or more likely it's bit pants...
