4 people dead in a flat.

Possibly including two children.

I'm guessing at murder suicide.

I'm trying to get on to the Jersey Post website, it's not having it - a lot of people must be trying too.

Has this stabbing happened at someones flat or at the hospital? If the former seems a bit odd to close the accident department?

Yeah I was just thinking that, anyone been to Jersey hospital? Can't imagine it would be that big...

According to the BBC a bloke is in custody - after having surgery there.

ETA: In custody at the hospital, sort of explains it now.

Don't be so sure Ive been around Gurnsey hospital and it was large ( well larger than I thought it would be), it was very modern and very well equiped.

It was also completely empty. But gather in summer it fills up a bit.

Terrible, wonder if one of the 6 dead was the attacker.

RIP to those involved, apart from the attacker if he/she IS dead.

Jersey Hospital is quite big - my daughter was born there last year (5 weeks early) and stayed in special care for a couple of weeks so spent a bit of time there.

Probably closed to stop reprisals.

Really shocked to hear this, not the sort of thing you get in Jersey.

BBC have stated that a 30 year old man has been arrested.

Thoughts to those involved.
