Has anyone else had one of these?
I've got one, posted 5th Aug that is apparently a warning that when Lulzsec hacked the Sun and changed their web page (and claim to have taken emails) they also got my details too.

I had no idea that The Sun had anything from me, not a member of any Sun forum, and the nearest thing I can think of was entering a competition to win some crap from Ghostbusters 2 in 1989.

It does mention no financial or password info would be involved, but I'm wondering if they've been sent to almost every household, or just a few.

Well, this came as a letter, and all it says apart from they might contact me again is to be careful dealing with unknown third parties.
I can't see them having more than a name and address or contact details which are freely available anyway.

I've had one too. Also have no idea why as I don't recall signing up for anything on their website etc.

Same here - I have never registered on the Sun site. The only thing I could think of was when I registered on the Sunday Times website 3 years ago for free Goodwood tickets.

You know guys, rather than pretending you don't read the Sun, you could just not respond to this thread...
