That's either a delicious typo or a very witty joke.

Yes, shot in the leg, hopefully there is no perm-nent damage and the hospital can straight'ner out, looks like the guy just had a bad hair day, shame the police didn't find him in time to foil his plan of cutting it short and hanging himself.

I do believe the police are combing the scene for evidence

Let's hope the perp hasn't brushed up on track covering techniques, that could color the jury's opinion.

Que? Talking about a shotgun that isn't registered and shouldn't be in this persons hand, if this person was a registered SGC holder then it could affect other shotgun owners and users like myself, last year we had all the nimby's wanting knee jerk reactions after Derrick Bird went on his rampage, the last thing the shooting community needs is more bad publicity.

Still can't understand where you are coming from though?

the story said:
Susan Wakeham, who runs Hairs & Graces hair salon across the road, said she knew the owner of the premises. She said: "You don't expect something like this to happen on a busy main road on a Friday afternoon. It's quite scary actually.

"I know the salon owner. I know of the girl who's been shot but I don't know her in person. I know the salon owner and she must be in a hell of state."
Thanks for that in depth insight. thumbup

From the story I didn't get the impression it was a shot gun, what makes you think it was?

Local MP: "it's usually such a quiet area"

Um, I haven't googled it yet, but even with my bad memory I can remember 4 serious incidents in the last 2 years. The place is rapidly becoming the biggest sthole in Wales

It's at the bottom of the article, they are looking for info on the shotgun, they found two shells at the scene as well.

And Newport is a sthole, it is becoming a slum to be perfectly honest it can't contend with Cardiff, I never feel safe going through Newport.

I was picking out the one post where you were being serious to...y'know...in an attempt to....forget it.

As a keen clay/game shooter who first got his certificate issued by Gwent Police I share your concern about the legal status of the shotgun, although my feeling is it'll be legit. Doubt a hardened gun toting criminal would lightly wound three ladies at close range before blowing his head off.

As for Newport being a slum compared to Cardiff...Newport is basically Cardiff without the bit worth visiting. Take away the city centre and 'the Bay' from Cardiff and you'd be left with Newport.

ETA - close the stupid advert at the bottom of the video to read the subtitles wink
