Interesting, "Their early study showed all leukaemia, lymphoma and myeloma cells could be killed in a test tube". How do they think to try this stuff?

I expect it's a case of "Hm it looks like we need XYZ. Doesn't ecstasy have XYZ in it?" or "Hm it looks like we need XYZ. We'll make it. Oh, it is similar to ecstasy."

So, a university researcher is producing E and none of it will make it into the students' union... right. biggrin How do they get away with producing it legally, then? Or are the labs based in somewhere interesting?

Probably because they're not producing MDMA.

They're making compounds that aren't ectasy, so there is no legal issue.

I thinks its bks, they probably think they saw it disappear in the test tube but the fact that they also saw a donkey replace it in said test tube has no doubt been omitted.

in that case it also helps that diacetylmorphine is a Sch.2 CD due to existing clinical utility

this is something that people don't seem to get - especially the 'legalisers' that the benzos , opiates and 'phet are all perfectly legal if you have a script and/or HO licence ... I know various people who have a 'bootful' of opiates, benzos and ketamine ... it goes with the orange /red jumpsuit and flashing green light...

They started with ecstasy - I know one of the guys in the lab. They have a licence and just buy it from a pharmaceuticals supplier.

Some people forget that methadone/morphine etc need to get from the factory to the hospital. They come out of the factory by the lorry load!

Mind you, our vault (yes vault, not safe) was tank proof....

oh yes

as for vaults yes this has cost a well known charity an awful lot of money over the past few years in providing suitable storage for the morphine issued to paramedic members and the morphine and other CDs to go in the Medical Team / Doctor bags ..

No good for clubbing. It lacks the structural rigidity.
