On the way home today, driving along a fairly major route through a suburb of Birmingham I saw a group of maybe 5-6 girls no older than about 8 years old on a grass verge.

Upon further inspection, one of them was wearing a pair of knickers and not much else whilst another appeared to be lifting up her skirt, pulling down her knickers and striking some grotty pose.

Now my point is this.

How fked up is this country that we are letting our own daughters, who are nothing but children, out on the street unsupervised and allowed to do whatever the hell they want?

These are the biggest problems within our society, as yes you've guessed, these children are our future.

Will these girls make it past 12 without falling pregnant. I fking hope so but I doubt it.

The common theme amongst some members on this forum is to blame everything on the 'blacks', Islam and the 'mussies', Jews or even 'gansta rappers' (whatever the fk that means).

We are completely and utterly fked as a nation and I can see that at only 22 years old.

Whilst we continue to allow socialists and other left wing do-gooders to bleat on about human rights - this Country sinks further and further from the point of no return.

What the hell is happening around us?

You subjected a group of 8 years olds to 'further inspection' and you're asking us what's gone wrong?

I'm fairly sure Great Britain has survived countless legions of dirty little skets throughout the ages, up until this date and will continue to do so without rapidly demising as predicted.

I expected a story of a man being set on fire or someone being beaten to death with a spatula - if this is truly the worst example of the ways this country has failed, it seems like a lack of perspective.

Groups of people have been doing odd things since time immemorial. Groups of kids being out late is not a new thing. They were doing it when I was young, and old folks and relations I speak to say the same thing. Some families just let kids out at all hours. Nothing new at all.

wink

And as for teenagers dressed as hookers on nights out....

I feel the problem here is that we let people do whatever the hell they want, due to liberal laws on human rights and other drivel that needs to be addressed and corrected.

Call me old fashioned, but back when women dressed themselves accordingly, we were not in the situation we are now. Young people had respect for their parents and for others.

Surely you can see the correlation. People are now untouchable, therefore they will do whatever they like when they like.

Can you not see that?

I do not support communisim but there needs to be some sort of authority within society.

Sounds more like fascism is what you're thinking of!

So what do you propose we do?

I for one, feel we're past the point of no return.

Why were the youth rioting? Because they can.

What do you propose we do about it? Nothing, or you'll end up with a blade in your stomach or worse.

Britain is a great country. Instead of sitting around crying about kids flashing their pants get out and enjoy it. Go for a bike ride or a run or watch england destroy india at cricket.

I've just been out for a bloody bike ride.

Rather enjoyable it was too.

Can I just ask you though - what makes you think that Britain in it's current state is 'great'?

If it's gone past the "point of no return", then there's no returning is there?

Therefore there's nothing to do. We're too late.

As a country, Britain has gone through cycles of moral rectitude and moral collapse. Hogarth's print of Gin Lane (as shown above) was drafted at a time when many people thought Britain was in a state of moral collapse - 300 years ago.

You're 22 ffs. You're thinking too much about things. Stop worrying and sow your seed yonder. Start worrying about the demise of society when you get to 35 and after you've had as much fun as possible.

When you get a little older, you'll realise that you can't do anything about it and there's virtually no point in moaning.
