Oh Jacqui Smith, why you so daft..
Discussion
Jacqui Smith, the former home secretary, arranged for two day-release prisoners to paint her home when they should have been doing community work.

I think Jacqui Smith has to be the most singly useless Home secretary of modern times and since leaving office has managed to display a level of stupidity that one would hope didn't exist in politics but clearly does.
She should go and become a magistrate or something else that gives her a sense of power but no real danger of ruining things for people on a permanent basis.

I just read this: “If he watched porn films, I can argue with him about that. But if he makes a silly mistake on a claim form, and I am silly enough to sign it, that should not undermine everything he has contributed to my career and everything we have got together as a relationship.”
Why would the husband be filling in her claims forms for her job?

Oh thats harsh on Blunkett, he tried to do things that we didn't like but if it wasn't his own crisis was quite smart and did react well to crises. Jacqui Smith always looked out of her depth when anything went vaguely wrong and seemed to have only been picked because they were running out of people to take the job and wanted to have the headline of having the first female Home Secretary.Cupramax said:

He may or may not have been good in a crisis. Let's face if, he organised so many catastrophies that practice alone must have made him fairly good at coping with the fallour.
