Police again fired rubber bullets at ANC Youth League supporters in Johannesburg on Tuesday when rioters attacked a police nyala (armoured vehicle).

A group of about 25 people had climbed on top of a nyala, singing and dancing with sticks in their hands.

Rubber bullets were fired to get them off the armoured vehicle.

Some schoolchildren were shouting that they were not scared to fight for youth league leader Julius Malema, who was facing a disciplinary hearing alongside several other top youth leaders at Luthuli House on Tuesday.

If you've not heard of Julius Malema before, take a browse of Google. This idiot threatens to be the future leader of South Africa, and demands the nationalisation of a host of South African industries.

He's making Mugabe look like a saint by comparison.

From the BBC website (and this doesn't even begin to describe the half of it):

Born 1981, joined ANC aged 9
Had military training in 1990s
2008: Elected ANC Youth League leader
2008: Vowed to "kill" for Jacob Zuma
2009: Said woman who alleged she had been raped by Zuma had had a "nice time" - later disciplined
Called for mines to be nationalised and white-owned farms to be seized
2010: Disciplined for undermining Zuma
2011: Tried for singing "Shoot the Boer [White farmer]"
Called for the overthrow of Botswana's government
Criticised for lavish lifestyle

Not bad for someone who's not yet started his 30s.

God help SA if he gets anywhere near power.

I would love to go there one day but will not do so until things have calmed down a little and this odious little sod and his ilk are making it less and less likely I will ever see the place with my own eyes.
