I've dealt with prostitutes, purely on a professional basis - mine not theirs - and the image of the norm being good looking women with figures to make your loins ache is a wee bit from the truth. There are some who are a bit classy but even they normally look not bad rather than pin-up models. They often dress well, the more upmarket ones.

By the time you drop down from the real class things get rough very quickly.

That said, that's just how they look. I've talked to some and they often are very pleasant to talk with. It surprised me, although that says something about my prejudices rather than them.

I did a raid on a brothel once where one bloke was actually on the job at the time. The room was dark with the curtains drawn and the lights dim. When I saw the prostitute I nearly switched my torch off.

And she was one of the better looking ones.
