Recently for the first time in years I took a weekday off work and fancied a walk into our local town centre to pick up a few essentials. What I encountered on my way was frightening.

Inbred, slow motion, no brain, gold wearing, smoking, pregnant, fat, smelly, alien language, spongers, with absolutely no function that helps or improves us a human race. A total waste of good oxygen! Over half of which appeared to be from Eastern Europe. Not just a few but hundreds of them!

I honestly thought I had walked into a horror movie. Where the hell do half of these people come from that shuffle around apparently without any purpose in life?! Never have I been so angry to think that I am paying fortunes in tax to keep these zombies alive.

I'd imagine the eastern Europeans look like zombies because they've been up all night doing the jobs the remainder of the zombies can't be bothered doing.

Just a thought wink

Actually, regarding the native element, they've all got a handful of A*s and represent pure genius at work, or not at work but out taking exercise and visiting the library or local museum for a dose of culture. Every one of them is worth a starting salary of £50k just for breathing, it's obvious. They're just misunderstood. The nation is saved.

Purpose in life? Do any of us really have a purpose in life? We are born, we occupy our time with activities to stop ourselves from becoming bored, we die. I'm not sure any of us have a real purpose.

My sole purpose seems to be to keep Mrs Blib in the luxury to which she wants to be accustomed.

To be positive, not negative
To help, not hinder...

I think practically our purpose is effectively to contribute to society, like it or not. By having a job we are directly or indirectly helping people get what they need (or in some cases what they think they need) in life, contributing to the economy, paying our taxes, etc. If we all chose not to bother we'd be back to being hunter-gatherers...

smile The people in your op may very well be positive. If by hinder you mean they are hindering the country you may be correct. Personally though, I believe the country must blame itself for allowing the system we currently have.

That makes us no different from ants.

Would that be such a bad thing? It would sort a lot of our problems out.

I can't understand that, Eastern Europe is full of top-quality mantovani, every one a stunner

or is it the blokes you're talking about (pregnant?)

I am not saying they were all from Eastern Europe, I am just generalising. However they were not speaking English? Most were clearly inbred home grown chavs, but do we need to keep adding to the collection of wasters by importing more?

The country, are you not part of it then? And if you actually want to be an "ant" (or zombie) then clearly I have proved my point!

My point was there's no point blaming the people in your op, it's the system itself that needs changing.

Why do you think I want to be an ant or a zombie, where did I suggest that I wanted to be either?

What op? I am not blaming anyone, I am stating facts.

What system, and what is broken? How do you fix zombies?

Clearly I am missing something here..

People need to take some responsibility in life and not just blame "the system".

I think that you, me and just about everyone else would find life very uncomfortable indeed if civalisation suddenly disappeared one day.
