Italy gets Berlusconi, bunga-bunga and a countless army of gorgeous models. We get a jowly Lib Dem, two rough old boilers and a tabby cat:

Why does our political class set their sights so incredibly low? There hasn't been an attractive woman involved in a Westminster scandal since the Profumo affair. I almost find myself longing for the glory days of Edwina Currie.
