Can't find the report but the Sky News banner says "highly probable the two earth tremors were caused by fracking".

Pesky tremors, so strong that they caused no damage what so ever, but don't let that get in the way of a good story. Any "earthquake" or tremor would never be that major as it's not tectonic/fault line.
As it stands there have been trmors for hundreds of years as we have extracted coal, so it's nothing new.

"The report said the combination of geological factors that caused the quakes was rare, and would be unlikely to occur together again at future well sites."
There's enough gas to keep the UK energy independent for decades. So let's bloody have it. Oh I forgot it will blast the Governments Carbon scam out of the water

I lived through the Great Quake of 2011 and let me tell you, it was some scary s
t. I mean, first there was the initial bang, which sounded like a clap of thunder, followed by the sudden, sharp movement, like you'd been shoved in the back. All this lasted for a fraction of a second but I still have flashbacks to it today. I'm just thankful that Sellafield wasn't affected by the resulting tsunami from Marton Mere.

Gosh, PTSD, with those "flashbacks", I'm sure you will be able to sue someone.

I hope the National Trust Step in to save Rufford Old Halls Timber frames. Actually I don't.
