Ed Balls demonstrated the wrong way to deal with a failing authority under the Haringay Fiasco where the Sharon Shoesmith, Head Of Social Services was dismissed wrongfully and subsequently awarded huge compensation for wrongful dismissal.

Typical example of modern politicians acting as bully boys to the denigration of public services and at huge costs to the taxpayer.

Change of government change of party.

Sadly we have the same toadies in Politics.

The Conervative/Liberal Home Secretary Theresa May has done just the same with Bully Boy tactics against Brodie Clarke in the UK Border Force.

Mr Clarke has resigned claiming unfair dismissal. Given the way he has been pilloried and vilified without any right of reply or opportunity to put his case, I think he will win the case. Blaming him for the inadequacy of the Border controls is a cheap attempt to deflect criticism from Ms May by Ms May with her career as the top priority.

I think this this is another disgraceful demonstration of the ME first politics that we have today in the UK. And I think there will be a huge payout to Mr Clarke.

Frankly, our politicians are so far up their own personal agenda for a wealthy celebrity lifestyle in the future it is a wonder we have any control over public services left.

I think we could well lose the Home Secretary over this. This kind of self motivated bullying is a sure sign of incompetence and totally wrong. Once again the taxpayer picks up the bill.

IT is the exact parallel in knee jerk bully boy tactics that I find so reprehensible. These politicians are vicious unprincipled fools. We could do with something a lot better.

What do others think.

You can resign and claim that your employer made your position untenable, which forced you to resign. IIRC.
