A suitable case for the return of corporal punishment.

http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-england-kent-15682047

Several new lines of inquiry are being pursued following an appeal to trace a man caught on CCTV in Kent swinging a cat by its tail.

The man was recorded outside the Camden Arms pub in Ramsgate at 08:15 BST on 29 October.

The cat, called Mowgli, was not injured in the incident.

Klare Kennett, of the RSPCA, said: "This was an absolutely horrific incident and we have had a tremendous response to our appeal."

I hate people who consider peoples pets as targets for their own buggered up minds.

Pets, someone has taken a slight but important step to care for their welfare.

Usually cats are either unsuccessfully shot and left to suffer and die from either wound effects/infection or poisoned.

The fact is animals are NOT cruel (despite our human "ideals") but correspond to the way nature has shaped them.

Right, time to get out on the Tay estuary and harvest some sustainable, organic protein wink

Cat-o'-nine-tails should do it. First we need to catch nine cats, get a sharp knife and some string.

I would lock him in a cage with a tiger

Try and swing me by the tail? No? Ok, you're my lunch.

Tigers are pwnage, for every domestic cat abuser there is a tiger eying up a Indian farmer for its balti supper

Talk about making a mountain out of a molehill, it is only a cat and it wasn't injured at all, swinging a cat its even a common English phrase.

The phrase ' no room to swing a cat' is a reference to being unable to properly deploy the ancient implement of punishment known as the 'cat of nine tails' and has no relevance to felines.

Come to think of it, a cat of nine tails might be a quite appropriate method of retribution in this case.

capital punishment is a bit harsh.
Swinging him round by his arm sounds more appropriate.
sounds like fun eh? I bet the cat enjoyed it.

Every day is Caturday round here - ours lives like a king!

Tie this bloke by the arms to the back of my truck and I'll drag him through the streets. For comfort, he doesn't have to be face down.

Was the cat REALLY SERIOUSLY hurt, and I don't mean the sensationalist garbage in the article? Did the cat enjoy it - children enjoy being thrown around? Or are YOU just being manipulated by the press stories put out by the politicised business that is the RSPCA et al in order to justify their own existence?

I love animal rights nutters. Dare to put a story in a paper suggesting an urban fox has attacked your pet, and they threaten to murder your children or actually firebomb your car/house. So rational - priorities not skewed at all!
