Pilot trapped in toilet - almost causes terror scare...

It appears a pilot got trapped in the toilet on a local flight in the US and was the reported 'missing' by the flight crew. Then a passenger with a 'thick accent' tried to assist and wasn't allowed onto the flight deck to inform the other crew what was happening.
It all ended happily though when the Captain managed to free himself and the plane landed safe and sound to be met by the FBI and airport officials.
Bless the mad world we appear to live in now.

Just shows how paranoia can take a minor incident into a full on security scare, 15 years ago the crew would have all just been laughing about it.
My dad is a pilot and when I was a child we often used to go up to the flight deck and often we'd be sat there chatting to the pilots for ages, happy days.

When we flew to the USA in 1990 we got to go in the cockpit and look out the front windows. Could only see 1ft in front due to clouds but the pilots kid was sat there playing on a gameboy. We thought that was proper cool.My dad is a pilot and when I was a child we often used to go up to the flight deck and often we'd be sat there chatting to the pilots for ages, happy days.
