Whys he been jailed?? is there a law against shagging pupils? not planning on teaching , or shagging school girls but she was 16 what law has he broken?

at my semi posh boarding school few pupils got with teachers and were sacked, but not jailed.

I await your informed responses.

It appears that the age of consent rises to 18 if the older party is in a position of trust and has a duty of care to the minor, e.g. teacher, GP, youth-group leader, (catholic) priest etc.

This clause is there to prevent an abuse of power from somebody who should be responsible.

IIRC, the law was tightened up a few years ago so that you cannot nail a chick under the age of 18 who is deemed in your care. If they go to a school in another town, nail away you pervy sod!

They also exchanged 'naked photographs' which would be deemed as child porn as she was under 18, which wouldn't have helped his case.

Duty of care, under 18 yadda yadda, we're not allowed to add students on Facebook so shagging them is definitely out.

To be honest, as a teacher myself I don't get why or how teachers get themselves into these situations, you know the rules and you know whats right and wrong and shagging pupils is definitely in the wrong catergory.

But it makes me laugh when i was at school one of the teachers was very friendly with a girl in sixth form. I remember seeing them a few years later kissing and holding hands..They seemed to get away with it.

teacher at school was married to an ex 6th former , miss A

he then was adopted by the parents of another pupil, let's called her B

he got very friendly with B so A said its me or B, he chose B

then he got friendly with another girl, age 13, let's call her C, gave her a mobile so he could txt her etc naughty things.

C's parents find phone.....

Teacher sacked.

another one shagged various pupils. he was an ex pupil himself. still working there
