Sorry if it's a repost, but I couldn't see a thread already running.

The EU court rules that it would be against their human rights to send them back to another EU country because their human rights might be jeopardised there.

Im not getting it...

Why should we send an afghan immigrant back to Greece in the first place? Surely it should be their own country?

Or did they come via Greece and hence we send them back there?

Technically, that's the rule - which is why almost 100% of our illegal immigrants should be sent back to France!

Yep, more than likely. If the european human rights act is the way they want to play it, then they should settle in the first EU state they get to.
