Just watched him give evidence to Levenson by video link, and the fecker had a copy of his new book on the desk in front of him! Unbelievable... Cant we stop him coming back in the country again please?

He was being asked questions relating to some of the contents of the book, quotes in it etc. Usually handy to have the source material close to hand in such cases.

Given they were unable to get a consistent reproduction of the documents (ISTR PM's copy of the papers weren't numbered?), I'd probably be more inclined to read it from the source too.

I thought that the product placement for Evian was taking the whizz a bit.

Morgan is Slimyer than a slimy thing. I cant believe how weak kneed the questioning of all the heads of the papers involved has been. "Were you aware of phone hacking?" "No" "Oh, OK then." pathetic.

There is a code to these things though. Having Morgan speak first is a very clear indication that they expected him to lie.

They can always call him back etc.

What I have always been intrigued just how he wasn't charged over the insider dealing.

Its all very amateurish and embarrassing, usually involving a lot of show boating and bullying.

I see his reporters have come out and said that, effectively, he's lied to the enquiry. I'm not seeing any consequences though.

Out of all those I've seen at this he's the worst for obviously trying to dodge questions & by the looks of things the least prepared.

Pants on fire?
