Literally a day after the last American soldier left, the ste PM accussed the Sunni leader of trying to kill him seven years ago. Now the attacks the OP mentioned. Obviously, the sect violence is so embedded in the region's DNA that it can't be helped. Democracy is complex and requires a sophistication that these people obviously do not possess. I am not sure any nation in the ME is, Israel being the exception. Egypt perhaps, but I am not betting the farm on it.

So the last vestiges of justification for the immoral invasion now fall away leaving only the soiled stain of ignorance and perverted religious zealotry of the Blair error.

As noted above, totally expected. No surer way of turning the so called moral authority of the state into the laughing stock of the general populous. Pathetic.
