Just words . I bet she really thinks and worries about her subjects as she puts her feet up on front of the fire that we pay for .

Are you f***ing kidding me ????

Now I class myself as a royalist, rather than a republican, but lets face it Her Maj has always been a bloody awful public speaker.

Literally within about 30 seconds, all I heard was blah...blah...blah...blah....

The speech was predictable, unimaginative, and poorly delivered as it is every year. In fact it's so bad it's funny, as she is a parody of herself. It just makes me think of spitting image, and I start chuckling.

Having said all that - God save the Queen :-)

In my opinion, it was quite depressing.

I couldn't see how any of it was 'inspirational' ?

People are looking for inspiration in these times and there was a complete lack of positivity and an abundance of negativity IMO.

Would be awful if it was well rehersed and perfect. Like a party political broadcast.

always interesting to see what the media makes of it. last year they said she would major on the envorinment and mmgw. She mentionned it once, but spoke at length about the commonwealth, and how important trade is for the growth of the company..

..afterwards, the media spokme at length about the speach containing messages about mmgw and the environment

One orphan says orphan don'tchyano.

Almost as dumb as Bliar's 'down wiv the lads' cockerknee estuary false accent.

Millipede (dead) does this lie speak as well.

And Ozzie occasionally.

Not CMD though.

Sarf lundun 'leaf' is, however, the winner.

Truely the mark of an individual to be avoided.
