Rick Santorum to ban porn

It's all over for fans of internet porn if Rick Santorum becomes POTUS. Rick, who's madder than a bag full of badgers, is apparently pro small government but is pretty keen to regulate what people do in private and would also like to ban homosexuality and contraception.

Never fear though, Rick is is about as palatable as week old roadkill to the average American and would go down hard in a general election even if he did get the GOP nomination. And not even the republican party are that stupid. Are they????

It is a worry. My sympathies are firmly with the right so I'd always lean to the Republican cause but this guy's a fruit loop. No more porn? Unlikely.

There's rather more chance of Santorum getting the GOP nom than you may think. He's won 10 states so far and if you add Gingrich's delegates to his then he's not too far behind Romney. And he's got momentum.... Romney should still win but it may go all the way to Tampa and there could still be a twist. Romney is mistrusted and disliked by a lot of Republicans, particularly in the South. Even here in the Midwest I know a lot of republicans who would rather have Rick than Mitt.

As a democrat I'm hoping for a Santorum victory in the primaries.

I find it hilarious that he is even a serious contender for the nomination. The man is a complete and utter fruitcake. The prospect of him actually becoming president is quite terrifying though, and I'm not convinced Romney is any better.

I'm no fan of Obama but I don't think I could vote for either of the alternatives over him. I thought our politicians were bad, but I think the US has us beat in that respect by far.
