That's because we are outnumbered by the simpletons out there with a reading age of 10 years old that can't read well enough to notice a spelling mistake and take the papers for gospel rather than question what is obviously incorrect.

Ah The Wail, the first ha'penny newspaper.

It says a lot about the UK that the biggest selling rag newspaper is the super soaraway Sun, with about a million more in circulation than the Wail and a 'readership' approaching 8 million.

No wonder a democracy has problems getting a decent government - of any hue.

That happens to me every time I listen to Steve Wright. His st show makes me want to drive very fast into immovable objects

I think either it or the New york Times are the most visited newspaper websites. A bit like fox news really. It may be the Jerry Springer of news channels, but its somewhat compulsive viewing for a lot of people. Its the only actually profitable 24 hour news channel out there IIRC.
