Doesn't seem to be a topic on this at the moment?. Horrendous loss of six young lives. Not really sure about the point of this post but just wanted to express my sadness.

Sky news said earlier that the life support machine would be switched off today. Cant imagine what they are going through.

Lets just say the last time this family was in the papers the response was a little bit less favourable

Agreed but for all his faults, no family deserves this.

Very sad. Whatever people's opinions are of the parents, it's a terrible thing to happen to innocent kids.

They allegedly arrested his former mistress and an unnamed man. Both were released and according to the press not many people are coming forward.

I live about a mile away from the house. The guy is known locally as Shameless Mick and was proud to be a sponger. I used to see him all the time in Sainsburys buying shopping trolleys full of beer with his handouts. Never saw him with any of his kids, he was always with his England football shirt-wearing mates. He is everything that is wrong with this country.

Nevertheless its a huge tragedy. Five innocent lives lost(probably six by the end of the day) and nobody deserves that.

Its looking like it was arson at the moment but nobody knows yet.

Why are you saying that - do you really think that's likely?

Whats likely? the justice system is a joke in this country, regardless of the fathers background no family deserves this.

But like every other child thats taken from there families they get a joke sentence.

I'd have thought it would be murder x 6.

I doubt that very much. I can't recall anyone convicted of murder getting a six month community order as a sentence. Can you let us know of some specific examples you are aware of?
