Fair play to the man. He is standing up for what he believes in (although what he believes in is a bit odd IMHO, but that's neither here nor there).
It is no different from some nut job trying to ram the word of god down my throat whenever I walk through town. I get offended by the way these people think that they have the right to jump in front of me and shout through a megaphone that some made up deity will smite me for knocking one out every now and then. Do these people get arrested? Do they f

k.Jebus, he's paid a very heavy penalty for his 'crime'.
Time to let him get on with it I think, I don't think prisons are well equipped to rehabilitate serial nudists and he doesn't think he's doing anything wrong (nor do I as long as he keep himself to himself as much as poss).
He seems to have been sent down for so long for not listening to the courts, perhaps if judges were to add "and don't do it again" to everyone they send down they could give longer sentences to more serious crimes?

It appears he was continually locked up for not obeying the police who were waiting outside for him rather then actually causing offence.
Quite a sad state of affairs and disgusting really. Sounds like the police have finally seen sense. Just such a shame that he spent six years inside at great cost when he hasn't harmed anyone.

Interestingly, or maybe not, he has been hassled by the police a lot more in Scotland than in England and Wales. The Scottish police have decided previously not to wait for a complaint of offence or distress from the public, but to lock him up pre-emptively. Rather heavy-handed policing in my opinion.Quite a sad state of affairs and disgusting really. Sounds like the police have finally seen sense.
