Ex-US Navy Seal sniper, clocked up more confirmed kills than any other.

He released a book a while back called "American Sniper", quite interesting but a bit over patriotic!

After all he's been through he gets shot in a shooting range in Texas..

Sad thing is, it's not really shocking anymore.

Wrong forum BTW.

Most things you read about him waffle on about him being USA's most prolific sniper, the confirmed kill thing might just be about the Iraq war.

Just read another article, the killer is a 25 year old marine with PTSD.

Sure I read the other day he is fighting the big C, wouldn't wish that on anyone.

He was involved in some kind of charity work rehabilitating vets.

Info so far is the guy who did the shooting (by the way he murdered another person not just Chris) was a vet who was being helped by Chris. This is to be confirmed yet though.

I'm sure his family will be looking on here and taking offence. Or not. Seen worse on here imo. Perhaps a thread about guns, snipers and killing made me forget the 'sensitive' button.

But gone now.

there is a finnish sniper who killed something like that possibly more in ww2. perhaps they mean most seal sniper kills or american sniper kills.

Lets be honest anyone whos done 4 tours as a sniper in an active war zone has seen plenty of action. A shame for his family and all who knew him.

So mass murderers then, though government approved mass murderers which makes it ok to kill over three hundred people?
