If you Read the article in question it was reporting that Pistorius' defence team were arguing that the guy who had given evidence which supported the prosecution case had fabricated the 124mph story himself. Therefore they argue his credibility as a witness is compromised.

As an aside, can he drive a normal car with foot pedals or is his car adapted for hand controls? Just wondering.
