I noticed on the BBC that Gordon Brown is back, I'm assuming he's responding well to treatment. Is he supposed to make Scots want to leave or stay? Where's he been anyway?

He's been in Scotland and place where Cameron can't go.

Is he on day release, or has he been cured?

Not content with destroying the UK he looks like he has now set his sites on an independent Scotland.

Be afraid, very afraid.

But is he for or against? And if so, what is he for or against?

Out of interest which politician do you think should lead the no campaign? George Osborne, Boris, Jacob Rees-Mogg?

You'd think Cameroon would at least try and save his job if he's not interested in Union:

"Some Tory MPs say that Mr Cameron’s fate could be taken out of his hands by a leadership challenge from disgruntled backbenchers if the UK is broken up after 307 years.
Over the weekend, officers of the influential 1922 Committee representing backbench Conservative MPs contacted members to ask whether Mr Cameron might lose the confidence of the parliamentary party if there is a Yes vote.

“The buck stops with him,” said one Tory MP. “Morale in the party is very low at the moment. You could see a coalition of the good, bad and ugly using a Yes vote as a chance to get Cameron.”

The only politician I can think of that wouldn't be toxic for the no campaign and Charles Kennedy or possibly 2-Jags.

Gordon and Darling will hopefully remind any English hating Scots just how much damage their politicians can inflict on the English if they remain part of the Union. Otherwise the will have to aim them directly at their own feet biggrin

Latest:
Brown is seemingly now taking charge of the 'No' campaign (Salmond must be laughing his head off).

AND
'It is understood the 3 main Westminster parties will formally back Mr Brown's proposals on Tuesday.'

The SNP has said the "No" campaign is in a state of "absolute panic".
Well, that's one thing the SNP has got absolutely spot on!

To be honest I don't think they should have bothered campaigning at all or even field a candidate for the TV debates. When fighting such an absurd, vitriolic and spiteful campaign it is sometimes best to not say anything at all and leave the public to make their own mind up.

Just relay the facts - no currency support, loss of government jobs, limited oil resources etc.

I think that doing the exact opposite of whatever Gordon says is a great way to ensure future wealth and happiness.

Seriously, look at his track record, if we as a nation had just sat him down and asked him what he thought we should do and then done the exact opposite we would be debt free and living in a low tax haven by now.

Plus, we would own all the worlds gold.

I think he'd probably have kept out of the limelight (whilst still skimming a nice living off the nations coffers) were it not for the possibility of being able to execute just one more (possibly his finest) cock-up.
