Google start censorship of their search engine.

So it's started, the surfs have to be kept under control. We can't possibley allow adults to search for naughty things, whilst at the same time, the government want to spy and record everything we do. If Google keep this up, I can see them disappearing.

I've just moved so haven't set wifi up yet, and went to look at some porn on my mobile via 3g, only to find that EE have blocked it! I couldn't turn off the age blocker due to lack of wifi, and they only take credit card details as proof, and I don't have a credit card!

Moving house is stressful, and so what EE if I want to crack one out to some nice lezbo action to alleviate said stress?

Just creates a new niche market for adult content search engines (of which there are several already).

Use Opera Mini as your browser, it routes traffic through Opera's server and compresses it. In doing so it is effectively acting as a proxy and bypasses the filter.

Yeah me too definitely. Not like things like their Android operating system or scientific research projects are doing very well is it. The search engine is such a small part of their business now, it probably makes no difference to them at all.

I know someone who inherited sod all from his dad apart from his big porn collection. I think it was his dad having one last laugh.

It's the reason broadband was invented!

Actually, not a million miles from the truth. I worked for a cable company years ago when we were trialling Cable Modems. When we checked usage, the most popular sites visited were pornolaugh

I don't see anything there to say Google are censoring their search engine. All I see is a report that Google will no longer accept Adwords linking to adult sites - a massive difference and one which is likely to impact negatively on their revenue.

Something like 75% of internet traffic or bandwidth is porn I believe and if it hadn't have been for porn sites the internet would never had got off the ground.

I'm sure I saw that on a tv documentary quite recently.

So,the world is full of dirty men wink
....and women biggrin
