So a big part of the leave campaign reassurance is that Norway and Switzerland do just fine outside of the EU.

That being said as part of their terms of free market they both allow freedom of movement for EU residents. In fact they both have far higher net migration from the EU then the UK! ( article in the Telegraph)

So question for those pushing the leave option on here - What is your views on the free market in Europe if you get your own way this week?

I think the Brexit camp intend a "third way" with EU/ EEA nationals having to qualify to come to the UK under a points-based system.

The having your cake and eating it way. Boris has always said he is in favour of the idea in all circumstances.

I can't see any problem with their giving us this.

That sounds more like leaving the EEA then 'third way' to me.

The net migration figure isn't necessarily a problem, depending on who is arriving and who is leaving...

Option 3. Hit Ctrl-Z until it is the year 1815. Enjoy 100 years of British global dominance.

OK but Norway and Switzerland both allow freedom of movement as per their EEA/EFTA agreements. Sounds like if we go their route we'd have no more control of who moves then we do now.

Simple fact is we don't need anymore unskilled labour as we have nearly two million unemployed, and the reason so many people are having to work with insecure employment contracts on a minimum wage and living in unaffordable accomodation with little prospect of owning their own is because nobody has the balls to turn off the taps.

Shouldn't this be in the politics section along with the rest of the propaganda?

I don't think I'm even going to vote. I really have no idea which way to vote and my one single vote will make sod all difference anyway. Who knows what major financial crimes are going on behind the scenes.

The points-based system would be an alternative to a simple "in" or "out" - sounds like a third way to me.

I think it's rather optimistic to believe we'll be given the choice if we vote to leave the EU.

if everyone did the same, nothing would ever change. Make a choice and then you can complain when it all fails. Else keep quiet down the pub afterwards

This.
Whether we are in or out frown
You just have to vote for who you think is the least corrupt.

My view is: If we were currently outside of the EU, would you vote to join now?

It is important to use your vote, corruption thrives on apathy.

Fascinating to see such a split in opinions on how a post brexit world might go.

My worry is that I have very little confidence in the current Government being able to negotiate any new trade deals. They've struggled to negotiate our current terms with the EU with any real marked benefits.
