Vladimir Putin's car involved in fatal head on collision.
Discussion
Vladimir Putins car has been involved in a head on collision killing his 'favourite' chauffeur in Moscow. Putin himself was not in the car at the time. But the car causing the crash drifted across from the opposite carriageway.
Now I know the word safety doesnt translate very well in russian but I'm simply staggered a road like this doesnt have a central barrier dividing the 12 lanes.
There is a video of the crash from what looks like a gantry or lampost CCTV camera that has been released by the russian media and is on all our news sites as well.

Kutuzovsky, built to commemorate the Russian hero of the Napoleonic wars, Kutuzov, is a huge boulevard style road - there are a few others about too - with IIRC as many as four lanes going each way. It is urban, but speeds can be high.Digga said:

Are these type of roads designed to be used as runways in WW3?DaveH23 said:

That doesn't really surprise me tbh. What does is that Putin's car isn't the equivalent of "the Beast" used by the US president which could probably just smash through anything this side of a T-55 tank.DaveH23 said:

I do know even after a whole night of drinking and walking back at 6:30am on a sat or sun morning taking a short cut to cross them is real Russian roulette and with sober hindsight bloody stupid! In fairness it was freezing and getting aback quickly was also important!Gassing Station | News, Politics & Economics | Top of Page | What's New | My Stuff
