Weird request on e bay.
Childishly I roared with laughter

"selling her old dress on eBay is disgusted to be asked if she would offer her used knickers as well"

A mate funded her way through a Nursing degree by flogging worn underwear. In the end it was pretty lucrative and she had 15 nurses supplying worn under crackers. Some of the specialist requests were erm interesting, but up to £60 a pair for the right combination of stainage and aroma couldn't be knocked.

Some program on the telly a few years ago was interviewing a biggish lady dressed in leather/straps/fish nets that sort of thing, she was a dominatricts (Sp).

Anyways she said she would do a poo in a Tupperware box and post if off to a client with instructions of what to do with it, all for the sum of £15. vomit

Apparently one of our site guys sold his old knackered safety boots to a 'gentleman with specialist interests' and made a few quid...!

You can sell all sorts of stuff on eBay. I sold my old gym trainers last year to somebody who asked me "not to deoderise them", made me a tenner on what would have otherwise gone in the bin.

'Ms Durham, 23, from London, said she was 'disgusted and confused' by the request,

She said she was worth much more than the offer'

From memory I think the £60 clackers were from the Holy Trinity range, which had stains of: skid marks, period stains, sweat, urine, or discharge. The most popular was the clinical double shift clackers.

As she couldn't drive I used to take her to Cheetham hill once a month to one of the dodgy clothing wholesalers to buy them and sealy bags in bulk. Easy to make product and a margin that many retailers would kill for.

Back in the day when I was selling pet food online, a friend was making a fortune from selling old shoes and trainers that he picked up from charity shops and clothes recycling places.

A search on eBay for "well worn" suggests that it is still lucrative, although I imagine some of the private messages from buyers may be somewhat disturbing.

Saves on laundry bills, too, I suppose!

I saw who'd posted the topic and thought it was a desperate online appeal to Dianne Abbot.
