45th President of the United States, Donald Trump. (Vol 4)
Discussion
Back to cohens payment, he used clever words, saying he used his personal funds to 'facilitate' payment, he acted as a conduit?
So after denying it, being clever to attack the allegation of the affair, rather than the payment, now admitting the payment, but saying it was to facilitate, the story of where the money came from, or if he was repaid, is still not known. I doubt that will stop the investigation into the campaign funds.

I did link to one such reference. And I did read the Guardian article which provided some additional detail (including mention of an e-mail sent by someone within the process). The Guardian article itself doesn't read as an unbiased account. Again, I'm back to where facts can be found.

Here's an LA Times article:

"Rep. William F. Clinger Jr. (R-Pa.), who chaired a recent House hearing on the travel office, reacted to the verdict by saying, "What started as a botched takeover for political cronies ends today with a jury rejecting a transparently political prosecution."
A somewhat skewed version;

Ok, for the sake of argument let's assume that the lawyer paid Stormyzy for rumpy pumpy with Trumpy and then asking her to keep quiet about it.So after denying it, being clever to attack the allegation of the affair, rather than the payment, now admitting the payment, but saying it was to facilitate, the story of where the money came from, or if he was repaid, is still not known. Is any of that illegal? And will any of his supporters care?
If not then the Dems and the anti-Trumps need to focus on more important things. It's been long accepted by most people that Trump is a sleazebag par excellence. There's no point flogging a dead horse.
Why not focus on the proposed cuts to medicare/medicaid? That's one of his "lies" that could potentially have a real impact on a lot of his voters and it's a cause that a lot of Americans will get behind (unlike DACA). That's where i think the Dems should concentrate.

Can someone please remind me why we're being linked to an article from 23 years ago?http://articles.latimes.com/1995-11-17/news/mn-411...
I thought Schumer and Pelosi were the leaders of the democrats now and Clinton just an also ran? Is 'what about Clinton' the American equivalent of me banging on about Miliband in a Theresa May thread or have I misunderstood how US politics works?

My point was not distraction or diversion but context and a hypothetical question about how the equivalent thread would look, or if it would exist, had Clinton won.

Just depends where the money trail goes, but then we could say that about trump over everything...
