Yep, gone.

The graffiti on the Chalfont Viaduct between Jn16 and J17 on the M25 has been removed and replaced by the tag of another "artist".

For some reason, that makes me sad. It always brought a smile to my face whenever I passed that way...

I had forgotten that! Baddiel and Newman did a great sketch on it IIRC.
That's the only place I know it from: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vh9p4t-4DMQ#t=8m46...

Evidently a Millennial word for a hiccup and a belch combined think of it as a bit like a mouthy shart.

The only other piece of graffiti that sticks with me is on a road bridge over a railway in Worcester, where 'BIRCH VANDALS' was written on the brick wall, only when it reached the red postbox embedded in the wall they very carefully wrote up and around it so as not to damage Her Majesty's property. Layers of irony built into that.

edit: ha, it might still be there under the overgrown bush, this was back in 2009 when they'd got rid of half of it. Bring back the birch!

Was also sad to see the demise of "Why Do I Do This Everyday" which became "Why Do I Still Do This Everyday" on the southbound M40 approaching J1A (M25).

Not to mention the PIES graffiti on bridges in the NW

Really gutted to hear this.

What the fk is 'Helch' anyway...

I did see 'Dfuq' on a bridge somewhere between here and Fleet the other day (A31 maybe?) – made me grin.

Also was a huge bit of graff in Portsmouth that said 'Wake up sheep' for a while, always liked that one.

Dfuq if it's the same tagger. Is all over Surrey. I've seen it everywhere. s.

From memory, it used to be on the old bridge here, I think: https://goo.gl/maps/9xBtPwfRrnv

this underpass came in 15 or so years ago.

Who am I? I’m a train driver so I have that bridge on lockdown but I am pushing on for 50 and my two boys say to not go back if it does get taken out, if your wondering what HELCH is, it was the name of the first train I ever drove, was a beauty, steam engine, power house it was, so I wrote it ever since.
He seems - troubled.

Some people cannot just leave things alone. tt.

If he is an actual train driver then I am not sure his employers would be happy about what he did.

Repaint it.
