This is a whole new one on me... apparently in a global governmental conspiracy all birds have been wiped out with a virus and replaced with drones to monitor the proles ... this ‘movement’ is really gaining momentum as well apparently!

Mrs Buzz is an aircraft engineer and once got into conversation with some "contrails are mind control gas" types - they just deleted her posts and diagrams from official plane schematics and said she was "one of them"

To avoid being proved wrong, all they had to say was that the government was using drone birds. Forget all the rubbish about all the real birds being killed and replaced.

I don't think of myself as a conspiracy theorist... but I'll have a go...

What if all the anti-science bullst; such as Anti-vaccines, anti-anthropological climate change, Flat Earth, creationism, astrology, healing crystals, homeopathy and all the rest were all part of a grand design to make people put aside reason and evidence, to ignore science, to dumb the majority of people down?

I mean there is so much of this st that uses misinformation, deceit and false equivilences to prey upon those who have the right to have an opinion, but lack the interest, time and possible skills to think about their opinions carefully.

Even the name "Conspiracy Theory" misuses in scientific terms the word "Theory".

You can hypothesise that the Earth is flat, but until you prove it with verifiable evidence it remains a hypothesis.
