YOu are correct. The title says 7.
They actually had the balls to do it! Good on them!

Don't we all want Politicians to actually stand up for what they believe so yes well done for doing the right thing. Now if we can get the other 643 spineless toads to do what they are paid for we might actually move forward

Indeed, fair play to them.

Be interesting to hear what they will be standing for, and why they didn't just bolster LibDem numbers (toxicity after the student fees thing maybe?).

It'll be interesting to see which Conservatives jump ship into this new party (if it forms). Then we can enjoy hung parliaments like the rest of Europe.

It feels like we have been under a hung parliament for years.

Fair play to them; I’m a dyed in the wool conservative but I’d be tempted to cite for them (having previously said I’d never vote again, due to my disappointment in politicians).

Hmmm, I have been thinking on this for a bit. THe PLP who want to split are more to the centre...the Torys who want to split, are more to the not-quite-far right....
But I guess if JRM and his gang can swing more favour in the Tory party, sorts like Anna SOurbry could jump to the new INdependent party IAP.

Thought I'd see Hilary Benn in there....

Sounds to me that Chukka is throwing lines out to torys there.....
did anyone catch Kwasi Kwatang on newsnight the other night, when he quite stridently corrected the host on who his boss was...not the Maybot, but her mag, da Queen?

Labour MPs won their seats with hugely increased majorities by standing on a manifesto of public ownership, scrapping tuition fees, hiking taxes on the rich, and ending austerity. Any MP splitting from Labour should have the decency to call an immediate by-election #LabourSplit
