Now you've done it, people that eat cabbage all week and wear cardigans are going to tell you how well they drive so it's all fine and everyone should be shot because they're ok.SimonTheSailor said:
Looks like the majority of people who were asked were in favour.....Finlandia said:
Depends, if you speed or not.
i speed every single journey i make. won't make any difference to me because all the roads i speed on are twisty a and b roads that rarely see a police car and never a camera vehicle due to the fact traffic is so light it would be a waste of time. well all except one and that is simply a case of picking the right time to enjoy the drive, would be stupid to do so in rush hour for instance.occasionally see a group of police bikes and the odd car on training.they don't seem to mind people keeping pace at a sensible distance.
It's probably true.
Many people consider speeding something that other people do.
For example, both my girlfriend and mother criticize me for speeding when I'm overtaking despite me being under the speed limit. Yet when they are in a hurry they think nothing of blasting through the 30mph zone at 45+.
They'd probably approve of these cameras, until they get caught that is.

Where's the problem? If it stops the army of tw4ts I see swerving across roads daily 'cos there looking at their phones in their laps, then I'm OK with it.
I wear my seatbelt and don't tailgate or lane-hog either, so I guess I'll be OK....
Except it's not going to be used for that, because that would require manpower to assess the images. So it'll be speeding only.I wear my seatbelt and don't tailgate or lane-hog either, so I guess I'll be OK....

Given the obvious use of this for revenue generation, it must have been a fairly leading questionnaire or a very specific sample.
Oh well. I'm not currently a member. It can stay that way.
Guarante they asked about all the other offences and had speeding in very small text at the bottom or next to an asterisk on another page.Oh well. I'm not currently a member. It can stay that way.
