A Human Rights tribunal in Canada is considering 16 complaints filed by a trans woman, against female beauticians who refused to wax her testicles.
She alleges that they are discriminating against her because of her gender.

No really, I didn't make this up.

This whole case is crazy - and I bet most trans people think the same. It’s just creating unnecessary animosity towards the trans community - as if life wasn’t already hard for them without attention seekers like this trying to make a name for themselves.

If salons don’t want to wax male genitalia that’s a fair position to take. The lady in question could have just found a salon that would wax her balls.

Just for those that haven’t been keeping up with this case.

This woman needs looking at.

Can’t find the screenshot but she’s applied for a licence to hold an event at a pool for topless girls 12 plus specifically not allowing parents to attend so it’s a safe space.

She’s closing down beauty parlours who won’t shave her balls, many if these women who refuse are immigrants.[url]

Perfectly fine, nothing to see here. Perfectly normal to be obsessed with young girls tampons so brave, so progressive.

Prohibit parents from a topples 12 year old party when the person running it is obsessed with young girls vaginas and tits.

It might come as a surprise but the vast majority of women don't usually have testicles,

In 2019 they apparently.

No one in their right mind would want their balls waxed. Just thinking about it makes my eyes water weeping

Before anyone submits this sort of humerous-if-it-weren't true sort of course case, they should be given two test tickles" to see if the can stand the laughter this may generate. If they survive the "test tickle" test then you know they have the balls to pull it off.

Any of our work diversity "pulse surveys" I've now resorted to replying under gender (our work lists male / female / married / LBGT etc as 'gener' when I'm sure it should be sexuality) as "tri-sexual" as it seems sooner or later, a mistake will be made, or at least a scenario come up that doesn't fit the usual definitions. i.e. if a male has a relationship with a post snip trans woman is that 'omo or not?

You r not been keeping up.

If a male has relations with a pre op trans it’s not gay because it’s a woman’s penis.

Ricky Gervais has been talking about this on Twitter. He's getting a load of flack from "right on types" backing the effort to sue. And that to stop "her" right to be waxed is because its misogynistic and feminism demands women get treated equally

He's just pointing out that how can it be pro-feminist to demand a woman does something laugh

Eventually the left with their "tolerance" will eat itself. It'll be glorious biggrin

I've certainly not being keeping anything up. I don't know where to put it these days!

I heard something about "manvag" on a radio show. I suspect I don't want to know what that is; is it the opposite of womanpenis?

I hope this case gets a quick and clear resolution as I think what she is trying to do is wrong.

The Guardian finally commented on it and rather predictably made it all about how unhinged Jessica is.

Unfortunately, however, the elephant in the room that they and others are too afraid to confront is the ridiculous endgame mindset that "cis females" should have absolutely no special treatment relative to anyone who happens to identify as female, with whatever genitalia they have, etc.

Jessica may be a bad faith crusader but you can't attack the person without attacking the logic, and attacking the logic automatically makes you transphobic, no ifs no buts. It's easier to just try and discredit the individual, that way you don't have to question the logic at all. It doesn't matter if "most trans people wouldn't do this", if they could.

EDIT: This article sums up my feelings perfectly.

I don’t think that is true, and I think what you’re doing is no different to throwing all men in with rapists for example as they ‘could’.

You cannot always go from the specific to the general or from the general to the specific.

So I would question your logic.

Exactly. Normal PH lazy stereotyping. Aimed at "the left" as usual.

What does that mean?

He/It sounds like a lunatic to me. Personally - kiddie fiddler in drag, using drag to gain access to said kiddies.....

I think it's an extension of the (already wacky) pronouns xe/xer/xir/etc - because "they" isn't trendy enough for non-gendered pronouns.

In this particular case, I think the term pervert would adequately cover a description of him.

I'd wax her balls.

It might be a little bit painful as I would have no idea how slowly to pull the strip off so would do it really really slowly, after I've left the wax long enough to make sure it was going to do it's job properly, but I'm willing to give it a go just to help her :-)
