Porthcawl public toilet plan includes anti-sex measures https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-wales-49372069

Wow!

I see a few problems here....

The weight detection may have a few issues with fatties..... seriously, there are folks around who weigh more than my wife & I combined. So where do they set the weight limit??

And what if a particularly violent bowel movement (the sort where you wish the toilet had a seatbelt) triggers the motion detectors, leaving you soaked, with your trousers down, and the door wide open???

Or if your a parent with young child in tow, tbh they should just do what they did at my last work and have no external windows and to save money light sensors that turn off after 120 seconds of inactivity....

Well, the parent with young child will be fine until they start moving, say with wet wipes to clean the child. Then they’ll get an unexpected shower, and the doors will open wide for everyone outside to be able to watch!
