Struggle with this one a bit, no mention that she needs help to empty the bag so kind of with the bouncers on this one. You can’t blame them for being suspicious seeing her go in the toilet with her boyfriend!

I hope she sues them.

Bang out of order IMO.

Difficult without knowing exactly how the confrontation went. She's obviously quite confident and happy showing the stoma, (and bloody good on her for that) so you'd have thought the exchange would have been quite brief.

  • Flashes bag* "this is why, and my partner is helping me"
On the face of it, it does look like the bouncers have waded in rather heavy handed.

She's just another Instagram attention seeker. What's the point of having security if they turn a blind eye to apparently dodgy behaviour? A couple apparently repeatedly locking themselves in a disabled toilet - what would you think is going on? she didn't need her boyfriend in there with her. My son has a stomer and is complete my with the the bouncer in this. A complete non-storey.

In the first article she's changing her bag once day and in the second it's up to 15 times daily! Does her boyfriend have to help every time and what on earth would actually do? Having read the article again I am even more convinced the bouncer was simply doing her job.

Hum... let’s see. Do I believe her or the bouncers. Given which group is more likely to make stuff up and act like obnoxious violent pricks I’ll go with her.

What is more likely, she makes this up after the bouncers politely ask her what was happening or they were dicks and are losing to cover their asses?

Or her and her fella were up to no good and to cover up she used this as an excuse?

I trust bouncers as much as you seem to but it's all guess work.

I feel many will give her more benefit than they would others her age because she has a stoma.

No, in the first article she refers to changing her bag once a day, in the second, emptying it up to 15 times daily. Two very different things.

Read the article, became sceptical, confirmed attention seeker.

Also how does one go about "calling for better awareness of invisible disabilities". How does one suggest we do that, exactly?

Why the BBC and the other news outlets continue to publish this tripe is beyond me

The later newspaper articles note her as being confrontational and foul mouthed.
So, my initial thoughts about the ex-choir-girl being victimised have now evaporated.

My guess is that she and boyfriend went to the toilets a lot (just like DD do) and the bouncers jumped to the most obvious conclusion and questioned them accordingly. The later articles also note the bouncers attitude as being apologetic on finding out about her condition. Yet, she is still milking it for all it is worth and will likely get compo.

I'm pro remain, but the timing of this story to bash weatherspoons soon after they announce brexit is making stuff cheaper and great for business is interesting.

Nail and head!

I am sorry I am now convinced 100% they were shagging.

Didn't like the fact she was caught out and is now after more likes on Instagram.

I have a stoma, it takes 30 seconds to empty the bag on my own and don’t need any help. I change my bag once a day in the morning after a shower and that’s it for the day, and that’s a 4 minute job! Bear in mind I’m new to it and only had my stoma for a month!
If she’s emptying her bag 15 times a day she really need to see her stoma nurse and she should not have to empty it that much!
90% of her photos on instagram are flaunting her bag in bikinis so clearly has no problem keeping discreet, it’s all a big bluff to get the insta hits and attention.

Occams razor for the bouncers there, 99.9% of what the girl & boyfriend were doing is normally done for other more nefarious reasons, this girl just happens to be in the 0.1% of having a "legitimate" reason so I think the bouncers were right to find out what was going on.

Also seeing all the previous attention seeking makes me think that the bouncers did nothing wrong and that the girl is just after more insta-likes.

Just because that is how yours behaves it doesn't mean that's others are exactly the same.

Loads of different behaviours from Stomas, none are the same. Depends on loads and loads of factors outside of a patients control. I’m pleased for you yours isn’t very active and only takes you a few minutes a day but there are a huge number of them that don’t behave the way yours does and it has nothing to do with you being good at managing it.

Hang around places filled with drinkers and you will quickly find twits to ruin your night. That's why they need security, who are also twits. The alcohol scene is filled with such stories and worse like violence and death. Bloody shocking.

Entitled vain Instagram young woman or or bouncers

Let’s see who is making a fuss and using it to promote their site.

It really is 50/50

But I can certainly picture, up to no good kicks off when questioned ‘ how dare you don’t you know about my disability “ attitude
I’ve never known anybody who needed help with theirs either, I’ve known a lot of people abuse their privileges
