A globe-trotting company director trashed a village pub and demanded he sleep with the barmaid whilst he was 'paralytic' after a lager and cocaine binge.
Michael Leonard, 46, who had not eaten or slept in three days, switched on the beer taps and began smashing wine bottles and glasses when he was asked to leave for propositioning the woman when she was serving other customers.
Come on, who on here hasn’t done that? Michael Leonard, 46, who had not eaten or slept in three days, switched on the beer taps and began smashing wine bottles and glasses when he was asked to leave for propositioning the woman when she was serving other customers.

I drink in there occasionally. Was born in the area over 50 years ago and in that time it has changed drastically for the worse, particularly the type of person who visits the bars and restaurants of AE. That berk is sadly not the only overbearing cocaine user in the area.
Yup! Must be almost 30 years since I was in there. It was a lunch time meeting with a certain female sales exec for Perkin Elmer. Not a nano-gram of cocaine to be found, but the pico-grams of her perfume wafting towards me over a pint of Sam Smiths I can still recall.
(Unsurprisingly we bought a lot of kit from Perkin Elmer)
Cocaine and GHB are everywhere now. I was chatting to a lad I occasionally work with and he said that the 'lesser' problem now in the town is middle aged heroin addicts.
Seems it's almost normal now to be smoking H when you can't get cocaine, which he claims is a bonus as they are all whacked out at home on the sofa and not roaming the streets and pubs looking for any excuse for a fight.
Must admit that whilst living in Didsbury Manchester (and also East End of London) we were surrounded by people taking anything and everything on offer. The H users only wanted to know where you lived so they could rob you later, the cocaine users just wanted to win an argument (normally started by their girlfriends), the amphetamine users just wouldn't shut up long enough for you to get a word in, and the E users just wanted to make sure you were happy and safe and share anything they had.

So if the H and cocaine users could take E as well this might solve the problem. Or maybe the cocaine users could add some amphetamines then they'll argue instead of fighting. coke and mdma are everywhere atm, the darkweb and well organised and increasingly customer service focused dealers have made buying drugs more pleasant than ever Not a nano-gram of cocaine to be found, but the pico-grams of her perfume wafting towards me over a pint of Sam Smiths I can still recall.

I wish it was so simple - but that's just my limited experience. Not sure if we should turn this thread in to another drugs debate. I'm still not sure if I want to discuss it here, but about a month ago we had a bit of a scare with our 12 yr old lad.
His parents (we) are separated but we get on ok and help each other out. I get the phone call from his mum at 8pm, "I need some help - Bob (not his real name) has taken something, he's out of it on the bathroom floor, he's losing consciousness you need to get here".
Fortunately unlike a lot of dads I'm only 10 mins away.
Sure I enough turn up, and he's a mess, naked out on the bathroom floor, vomiting, in and out of any coherent speech, all the signs say GHB, and if you know about GHB you'll know the overdose to death limit is very narrow.
We discussed calling the ambulance but us both having experience in the drug arena led us to think we can manage this by ourselves. And yes we did look for signs that he'd been raped.
Just imagine that for a moment, your 12yr old son is rolling in and out of consciousness and your second concern is to look at his anus.
The next day I asked him what he thought had happened and he told me where he could remember going and I visited every place asking to see the CCTV, only one place refused. :scratchin:
This is going on in every town and village in the country, and you are naive beyond belief if you think it isn't.
I really didn't want to bring up my story here, if anyone wants to discuss the finer details perhaps we can do it in the health forum. I have a few go to mates for incidents like this and some of their stories are horrific. I'm just glad my lad seems to have learned something and hopefully that's the end of it.
It's hard to fathom a way forward though when I and his mother have both tried our fair share of illegal substances, but one thing, that stands us apart is that we recognise and know what we are looking at.

Steroids in the mix too maybe?
It has to be involved too and opioids - I know for a fact that I can phone the GP now and tomorrow get a healthy delivery of tramadol with out a single question being asked. It's on my prescription record and I can order a repeat. Haven't used tramadol for 18 months now

Strike off about to happen to his company, living at his mum's, not exactly rolling heavy is he?
It is ridiculous - almost cliche - but tragic too.I feel sorry for people who are not in possession of their own actions but, at the same time, the general public should not be exposed to their randomness either.

I thought there was a clamp down of that sort of prescription, either happening or about to start?

Be interesting to see what they say - hopefully I'll get hauled in for assessment before they issue the script.
I did pose this as a potential challenge for the year..
