I was unaware if he was ill, but a very very good journalist and newsreader.

Just seen this. He seemed an OK Guy, good journalist, face I grew up with on TV.

I connected to him last year on linkedin, as he wrote a piece about some side effects from a drug we were both on and I had very similar and nasty side effects,
We exchanged details of what happened and stuff and he pointed me the direction of some more information etc.
Very nice bloke and more than happy to talk to me and help me out.

Great to hear a personal interaction. Positive one at that.

Medications can in many cases be as bad as the condition.

I hope things are now easier for you after receiving the information.
