So a Tesla costs 90p a mile then? JPJPJP said:
For those of us that don't subscribe to the FT what does it actually say?In view of the location and size of Sark I would be more surprised if it had the cheapest electricity.

No cars on Sark.I hear people keep warm by burning £20 noted and Unicorn tears on open fires. It's desperate.

(the only "car" on the island was an engineless citroen 2CV, imported back 1982 to use as a camera car when filming the "Mr Pye" TV series, because the 2CVs legendary soft suspension made a perfect camera platform, unlike the unsprung tractors and horse draw carts the island had, and that 2cv was pulled along by a horse or a tractor! The car sat rotting behind the islands post office iirc, until it was eventually exported to Guernsey and scrapped a number of years later)
